Is "Cho Chang" a plausible name for a girl of Chinese descent?
Cho is a Korean surname, as well as being the Wade-Giles transcription of the surname 卓 (Zhuo in Pinyin). Yep, Chang is a Chinese surname. Side note: as a Vietnamese speaker, I can't help thinking of the word for "dog" (chó) when I look at her name, so I read her name as "Dog Chang" whenever I see it. Reply reply.
