I was mere interested at making the drawings look GameBoy Advance-ish looking but seeing the color palette, I realize it has more to do with the games that I've played than what is available in the GBA itself as a whole. They don't look as good as the few dozen that have special pallettes but they may look a little better than they do on the black and white Game Boy.
