It turns out that in a fleet of hybrids over 30, at least 7 of the vehicles had some sort of failure... a couple of which were 2nd or 3rd time issues. and a few resulted in accidents... Ford has reviewed all of the vehicles in the fleet and will be issuing a letter saying its safe to drive.

gagrice MemberPosts: 31,450. June 2006. I seen 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid Extended Cab that says it is 6-passenger but the milage is only 18/21 which I don't think is very good for a hybrid. I nurse mine around town and get about 15 MPG. The best I have gotten is 18.89 MPG on a trip to the desert.
