Ratan Tata’s successor Noel Tata has received the unanimous go-ahead to join the Tata Sons board as the third Tata Trusts nominee, a separate report said

The executors are tasked with fulfilling Ratan Tata's final wishes while adhering to applicable laws. They have the authority to manage any unallocated assets unless specified otherwise in the will.

Ratan Tata, one of India’s most respected business leaders had appointed lawyer Darius Khambata and his close friend Mehli Mistry as executors of his well, as per an ET report. Tata’s half-sisters, Shireen and Deanna Jejeebhoy have also been named in the will.

Worth mentioning here is that the late 'Titan' Tata held a 0.83 per cent stake in Tata Sons and had a net worth of Rs 7,900 crore, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2024 released in August this year.
