Jesse Lee Soffer starred on ‘Chicago P.D.’ as Jay Halstead before moving to ‘FBI: International’ as Wes Mitchell

Jesse Lee Soffer just made his debut on the CBS drama as another law enforcement officer, but not the one he played for a decade on Chicago P.D. He's now Agent Wes Mitchell, a seasoned agent from California who didn't really intend on moving to Budapest anytime soon.

FBI: International is returning to CBS in the 2024 TV schedule, and the fourth season will be the first without Scott Forrester as leader of the Fly Team following Luke Kleintank's departure. The drama brought in another star from the nine-show Dick Wolf TV universe as the new leading man,

Wes is a former Los Angeles police officer, which Soffer said gives him a “different sensibility” than what Special Agents Cameron Vo ( Vinessa Vidotto ), Andre Raines ( Carter Redwood) and Amanda Tate ( Christina Wolfe) and Europol Agent Megan “Smitty” Garrestson ( Eva-Jane Willis) are used to.
