I first visited this museum back in 2015, and while circumstances beyond my control limited me to only spending 1 hour for return visit, I was still able to enjoy what was new, and what was the same.… Full review by Khyron82

It is closed every Tuesday.If the day is a holiday, it will be opened and the next day i.e. Wednesday will be closed.

I did not understand what you were talking about so I checked the Yamato Museum on line shopping site and knew that the calendar is available at Yen1,080 but they will send it only to a local address(not overseas) at Yen600. I think you should ask your local friend to get it and send to your address.

There are a variety of lockers for temporary storage in the adjacent Kure Central Pier Terminal. I stored two 22-in pieces of luggage and two backpacks in the largest one, for 500 yen. They can be stored there for up to 3 days. I just started there for the day while touring the local museums.
